Frequently Asked Questions

How We Operate

Eye Candy Customs does not accept walk-in customers. Potential clients must submit photos of their vehicle and ideas about their project through the REQUEST FORM.  Just click the link to get started. After evaluating the project, the owner will contact those wanting vehicle graphics to schedule an appointment for a consultation to include survey photos and measurements of the vehicle.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule a consultation. If the consultation leads to an appointment, the deposit will go toward the order total. If the project does not move forward or the potential customer does not keep their consultation appointment, Eye Candy Customs will retain the deposit to pay for the consultation slot. All card payments will incur a (4%) card processing fee.

What does Eye Candy Customs do?

Eye Candy Customs provides full color change vehicle wraps; full and partial custom-designed graphics wraps for personal and corporate vehicles; racing and pin stripes; chrome deletes; headlight and taillight tint; and in-house custom designing.

What is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle wrap is a vinyl sticker-like material applied on top of a vehicle paint on the exterior of the vehicle. A color-change wrap is using a solid-color pre-colored film applied to the exterior of the vehicle to change the color. A full-color graphics wrap is custom designed and digitally-printed on vinyl wrap material, laminated and installed to the outside of the vehicle.

Are there different levels of wraps & vehicle graphics?

A full-wrap covers the entire exterior of the vehicle except areas that cannot be wrapped such as textured surfaces, rubber parts(…..........). The size of a wrap can also be called a full wrap, half-wrap or partial wrap referring to the percentage of the vehicle to be covered by the wrap.

Are there custom alternatives to full wraps?

Eye Candy specializes in “spot graphics” or accent graphics. Those are graphics custom-designed for only certain areas of the vehicle including chrome deletes; stripes, hood, roof and trunk wraps; and other accents.

How much does a vehicle wrap or graphics cost?

All wraps or vehicle graphics are custom and so is the price. Cost is determined by multiple factors including the size of the vehicle and the amount of material needed, the chosen film, the complexity of the installation and the level of artwork/customization required.

How is a graphic wrap designed?

All wraps and vehicle graphics are designed in-house after a consultation with the customer. We'll work with the customer throughout the process to ensure the design appropriately reflects their vision for the project. Final proofs, mock-ups of the wrap or graphics done on a two-dimensional photograph of the vehicle, and explanations of the project and cost will be sent to the customer for review and approval before an installation appointment is scheduled.

How is a wrap or graphics installed?

Greg has more than two decades experience installing wraps, stripes & graphics on vehicles. The actual process is extremely precise, requires a lot of experience, finesse and attention to detail and is difficult to explain in writing.

How long does it take to wrap my vehicle?

The time it takes to wrap a vehicle depends on the size of the vehicle and the intricacy of the installation. Most full wraps can be completed in 3 to 5 days. Time estimates will be provided prior to the installation appointment.

How long will a wrap or graphics last?

How long a wrap or graphics lasts depends heavily on the care it receives. If properly cared for, you can expect your graphics or wrap to last 6 to 8 years.

How do I care of my wrap or graphics?

Proper care includes only hand washing or touchless drive-through car washes; avoiding regular or long-term parking in direct sunlight or under trees that will drip sap; avoiding pressure washing and harsh chemicals when cleaning; and not picking at edges. Regular washing & waxing keeps the vinyl moisturized to avoid it drying out and cracking.

Does Eye Candy Customs offer a warranty for wraps or graphics?

Eye Candy does honor a warranty on the installation or the wrap or graphics. Unfortunately, vinyl manufacturers will only offer a warranty on the material if is defective or if it is installed on a brand new vehicle before it leaves the sales lot.

Can I provide my own material for a vehicle wrap?

We prefer and are very familiar working with high-quality products from Avery Dennison, 3M and Oracal. Third-party kits and non-premium or off-brand materials will be evaluated and considered on a case-by-case basis.

Will a wrap damage my vehicle's paint?

No, it will not damage OEM paint. When a wrap is installed properly, it will actually protect the OEM paint. Wrap removal requires specialized tools and experience. When removed properly, the wrap will not damage the underlying paint.
